How you can lose your land?

10/07/2015 How you can lose your land?
Adverse Possession Claim -In Mississippi, individuals may obtain legal title to land from the actual owner simply by using the land for 10 years as long as other elements are met.
For example, if someone is using hunting land without permission from the owner and is doing so openly and in a manner consistent with how the actual owner would use the it, that person may be able to gain legal title to the land. These situations are law-driven and very fact intensive so hiring an attorney experienced in these matters is a must.
