Storygize came to DNA Imagery looking to build a single scrolling marketing website to showcase their native ad platform. The website was to inform potential customers of Stroygize’s unique value proposition and drive traffic to their contact form to sign up potential beta users of their new platform. Integration with their backend via a front facing login page allows users to bridge between the marketing website and Storygize’s product.
With nearly 50% of internet traffic coming from mobile sources it was imperative that the web site not only look great on desktops, but tablets and mobile phones as well. We created 4 different responsive break points to ensure that the Storygize website would look & perform spectacular on any device screen size regardless of make or manufacture.
In regards to the design Storygize was looking for ways to incorporate colors & shapes from their brand guide throughout the web site. We honed in on orange as the primary call to action as orange grabs attention without screaming & denotes friendliness, enthusiasm, and social interaction. We integrated the circles from their logo by making oversized bullet points & wrapping icons within circles as well to keep Storygize branding throughout the entirety of the website.
Native ad platforms are inherently complex products, but Storygize needed a way to convey their product to uninformed consumers with simplicity and ease. After a consultation, we were able to understand their product and simplify it visually in the form of an inforgraphic that shows a potential users path when using Storygize’s product.
The website is built on a custom wordpress theme keeping in mind that Storygize would soon expand their business and online presence. Therefore, the framework is ready to be scaled to Storygize’s needs when necessary. Behind the scenes we integrated several proprietary plugins as well as common tools such as google analytics & mailchimp to aid the web administrator.
