Schedule your session when you are sure you have a few days after it that are not highly demanding or tightly scheduled so as to allow time and space for your integration and detoxification process.
Make a commitment to yourself to do at least one form of Post Session Self Care a day for the 5 days following your session. Skim the Self Care section for ideas on ways to care for yourself during this time. There are a lot of ideas there so take the best and leave the rest.
You may experience deeply peaceful states and expansive new perspectives. You may also go through a period of detoxification, assimilation and integration. You may have physical symptoms resembling a cold, or fatigue. You are not getting sick. You are getting WELL. People who you haven't spoken to and with whom you have unresolved relationships may suddenly call out of the blue. You may have old, buried emotions come up to the surface to be consciously dealt with and let go.
This is all normal and temporary.
