Thus Far Flexim is the only clamp on we have found that will work on prestressed concrete pipes.
Extreme pipes call for extreme transducers! 💪 Prestressed concrete cylinder pipes, also known as Bonna pipes, have a complex structure and multi-material composition that presents a challenge for flow measurement technologies. FLEXIM's ultrasonic flowmeters, equipped with powerful clamp-on transducers and sophisticated evaluation algorithms, are capable of handling this challenge. They provide accurate and reliable flow measurement data without drift, even for the largest PCCP pipes. Contact us today, and let's get your flow measurements right! #powerplant #waterindustry #watermanagement #wastewater #flowmeter #engineering

C C Lynch & Associates, Inc. reposted this
The Bulimba-Hamilton Siphon, a vital infrastructure dating back to 1954, lies 60 meters beneath the Brisbane River in Queensland, Australia. This essential structure facilitates the transportation of wastewater from over 150,000 customers across the river to a downstream Sewage Pump Station. 🌇💧 Comprising two 730mm cement-lined pipes descending through a 60m shaft into the riverbed tunnel, accessing this location is no small feat, relying solely on a crane. This made it a daunting task for inline magnetic flowmeters, demanding substantial modifications to the pipes for installation and subsequent safety risks due to space limitations. FLEXIM's FLUXUS F721WD series emerged as the ideal solution to overcome these challenges. With its remarkable accuracy and straightforward installation process, it not only streamlined the task but also prioritized the safety of our dedicated channel partner during the installation. What's more, it eliminated the need for regular maintenance. A true win-win scenario benefiting both the water utility and their invaluable team members. #waterindustry #watermanagement #powerplant #flowmeter #innovation
