The Law Office of Edgardo R. Baez, Jr. is currently taking criminal cases only. Mr. Baez is a pastor and a lawyer that is not only concerned with the criminal case, but with the souls of everyone of his clients. He has successfully handled all types of criminal cases, including but not limited to : murder, manslaughter, DWI, DUI, assault, family violence, drug crimes, sex crimes, prostitution and many, many more. Mr. Baez not only handles their criminal cases, he also disciples each and every client into a productive citizen of society. This is important because when courts are only concerned of punishment of the individuals, Mr. Baez is concerned with rehabilitation individuals into productive members of the community. No case is too small or too big for Mr. Baez. As a solo practitioner, each case will be personally handled by him and no one else. Not only does the client get personal representation, each client becomes like a family member for Mr. Baez, as he becomes their pastors for life.

**Know the Difference** In criminal investigations, law enforcement agencies place people in four different categories. The first three are dangerous for anyone to fall under, and the last is safe. First, a suspect or subject. This means the police agency has reasons to believe YOU have done something wrong. The second one, the target, is different because the police do not have evidence that you did something wrong, but they are targeting to get that information. The last one of the first three is one that many people are not aware of, is a person of interest. This one is tricky because the person is not a target nor a suspect, but something has triggered curiosity in the law enforcement agency. Finally, the witness. A witness is used to gather information against either of the three categories above. Please know that law enforcement agencies will not protect you if you are or could be under any of the first three categories.
