What job search mistakes can you avoid to land your dream job?
Online job boards are the least effective way to find a job. If you spend 95% of your effort searching for a job online, a source that yields about a 5% return, you will be spinning your wheels. Instead, invest the majority of your time in cultivating your network and building relationships with others.

How can you develop empathy through collaboration with colleagues?
While empathy can be a useful skill to have in your toolbag, remember to be your authentic you. Not everyone is empathetic, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't make an effort to support your colleagues through active listening, asking questions, and sharing your personal stories. At the end of the day, be yourself. Diversity in personalities is what lays the groundwork for a successful team.

How can referrals give you an edge in your job search?
Networking is not something you do; rather, it should be a way of life. Networking is all about building and cultivating relationships. Many people only think of their network in terms of professional connections; however, your network can consist of social media acquaintances, neighbors, friends from church, the gym, your kid's school, social clubs, charitable organizations, and more. Never pass up an opportunity to expand your network. Your next career opportunity could come from places you least expect.

The program provides individual and group therapy, family counseling, public school and on-site transitional classroom services, psychiatric consultation and assessment, and highly…Holly Hill Child & Family Solutions strengthens the lives of children through its four programs and services focused on the child. Our four programs include:
✅ Residential Treatment: A licensed 24-bed facility and treatment program for adolescent girls ages 11 to 18 with emotional and/or behavioral problems. The program provides individual and group therapy, family counseling, public school and on-site transitional classroom services, psychiatric consultation and assessment, and highly structured 24-hour supervised group living in two residential cottages.
✅ Case Management: Children and youth, up to age 21, receive the support needed to stabilize their home environments and preserve the family unit. Case managers gather and relay clinical information to secure funding for needed services for children who are at risk of being institutionalized or hospitalized due to emotional difficulties. The team accesses services, such as therapy, medication monitoring, evaluation, and assessments, to help children succeed in their homes, schools, and communities.
✅ Supervised Visitation: A service providing opportunities for non-residential parents or others to maintain contact with their children in a safe, neutral setting.
✅ Therapy Services: Working with Case Management, our therapists offer either in-home or office therapy to help stabilize the child’s behavior while emphasizing personal growth and development.
Holly Hill Child & Family Solutions, with offices in California, Kentucky, and Highland Heights, Kentucky offers four areas of programming to benefit families in Northern Kentucky. In fiscal 2017, Holly Hill Child & Family Solutions served over 3,000 children and families.
