Do you ever find yourself asking the question, how good are we when compared to the industry? Are we tracking the right metrics? Are we making the right business decisions based on facts and data? How about knowing that things can be better within certain areas of your business but unsure of what to focus on, how to make a change, how to sustain the changes, and last but not least, establish a business case to show an accurate Return on Your Investment (ROI) by using a structured improvement process. If any of these thoughts ever run through your head, then a Maintenance Effectiveness Assessment (MEA) could clear all of that up for you. At TBR Strategies LLC we use a proprietary instrument that we developed and have refined over the years. This instrument alone covers 17 different areas and helps us evaluate 405 items with specific criteria. This is just one of many tools combined with our experience we use when assessing an organization. While it addresses the maintenance and fleet department, it also encompasses all of the processes, workflows, training, personnel, technology, policies, procedures, organizational structure, and much more. Our approach to Total Process Reliability (TPR) provides an extremely comprehensive strategy when it comes to your people, as they are what truly makes the process work for your company and ensures you sustain the gains. We are there to serve, guide, and teach the best practices while removing as many roadblocks along the way. During this time, we are there to help you as much or as little along the way. Call us or visit our website today to schedule your assessment. It only takes a 5 days in most cases to perform the analysis and present all the areas of improvement, provide a roadmap on where to start and how to begin your journey, and, most importantly, how it can redefine or complement your existing culture, all while becoming more profitable. You don't know what you don't know. This is where we, as your seasoned guides, come in. https://lnkd.in/gGqg4yxQ #continuousimprovement #tpr #tpm #assetmanagement #fleetmanagement #leadershipdevelopment #leansixsigma #kaizen #assetperformancemanagement #fleetmanagement

I had another fantastic experience over the course of two weeks collaborating with the wonderful team at Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC. During the initial week, I had the opportunity to train new team members and team leaders. In the following week, I led an EIT/CLAIRE event with some of their operations personnel and their new TPR Coordinator Manuel Valle, focusing on a specific piece of equipment. These weeks provide some of the best immersion training that you could ask for.

What a fantastic way to kick off a Monday! We're thrilled to be sending out a large batch of certificates to individuals who have successfully completed all of their assignments and passed their exams for American Reliability & Maintenance Institute. It's a true testament to their dedication and hard work. Congratulations to all the recipients! Names and photos to come after they've received them! Side note: We are launching our inaugural class for our new Certified Maintenance Supervisor (CMS)! On February 13th, at the Francis Tuttle Technology Center, we address an important issue. Often, we promote our most skilled technicians to supervisory roles, only to discover that the transition is challenging. It can be difficult to shift from being a trusted friend on Friday to being the leader and boss on Monday. While these individuals are still exceptional people, we must acknowledge that we haven't adequately trained them in the intricacies of maintenance supervision. Follow the link to enroll and start 2024 out right! https://lnkd.in/gCKZpeXC

Investing in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) training is a valuable strategy for organizations looking to optimize costs and improve efficiency. Here are some ways MRO training can contribute to cost savings: Reduced Downtime: Properly trained staff can make the best business decisions to ensure they have the right part at the right time. This aids in reducing downtime for machinery and equipment. This also helps in maintaining a smooth workflow, minimizing disruptions, and ultimately saving money. Optimized Inventory Management: MRO training can teach effective inventory control strategies, preventing overstocking or understocking of spare parts. This ensures that the right parts are available when needed, minimizing excess inventory costs. Streamlined Processes: Training can help streamline maintenance processes, eliminating unnecessary steps and reducing the man-hours required for each task. This increased efficiency can result in tremendous cost savings over time, which nearly all of our clients have seen. Proactive Approach to Maintenance: MRO training promotes a proactive approach to maintenance rather than a reactive one. Preventive maintenance can identify and address issues before they escalate, avoiding expensive emergency repairs. Employee Morale and Retention: Providing training opportunities demonstrates a commitment to employee development. This can lead to increased morale, lower turnover rates, and substantial cost savings by reducing recruitment and training expenses. The traditional concern of investing in training only for employees to leave is shifting. It's now emphasized that the potential cost of not training employees and having them stay for extended periods with outdated skills is more significant than the initial training investment. This is why our response to the question "What if I train them and they leave?" has always been, "Well, what if you train them and they stay with you for 20 years?" Prioritizing your employee's development contributes to a skilled, engaged workforce, fostering a positive company culture and providing long-term benefits for the organization. People thrive and feel valued when their company invests in them. If you want to better your company and prioritize your people, please join us on Thursday to learn what the best practices are when it comes to having a successful storeroom. The national average wrench time percentage, standing at 33% in the United States, is a crucial metric for assessing productivity and efficiency in the field. This metric reflects the portion of time that technicians or mechanics actively spend working on equipment. If your goal is to improve this percentage, a common objective for many companies, I'm enthusiastic about discussing our customer-tailored approach. At TBR Strategies LLC our proven strategies have been effective in not only significantly boosting wrench time but also addressing various other facets of operational performance. Let's delve into how we can enhance your efficiency and productivity by: Reducing Breakdowns: Implementing measures to minimize equipment breakdowns and enhance overall reliability. Enhancing Asset Performance: Implementing strategies to optimize the performance of your assets. Streamlining Processes & Procedures: Identifying and refining operational processes and procedures to enhance overall efficiency. Emphasizing Training & Skill Development: Placing a strong focus on training and skill development for your team. In essence, our approach aims to optimize your efficiency and productivity by focusing on total process reliability.
