Alisa joined Post Trauma Resources in March 2019. Alisa received her undergraduate degree from Columbia College in Psychology and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University. Alisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Alisa’s clinical background includes working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings which have included Newberry Mental Health, public high & middle schools and local private practices. Alisa specializes in a mind-body-spirit approach as she works with individuals who have experienced trauma, loss, grief, anxiety and depression. In 2017, Alisa completed a certificate in Play-Expressive Art Therapies (PEAT) program. Alisa’s clinical skills include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness and Expressive Art.

Amy joined the staff of Post Trauma Resources in January 2020 as the Program Director for the Family Life and Officer Wellness (FLOW), South Carolina's first resiliency-based wellness program for first responders and their families. Amy brings the wisdom of a thirteen-year career in law enforcement to include working undercover in narcotics, internal affairs, larceny investigations, Special Victims Unit (SVU) investigations, and team leader for the hostage negotiations and special response teams (SRT/SWAT). She was awarded a Medal of Valor in 2011. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work degree. Being married to a first responder has also given her firsthand knowledge of the difficulty of balancing career and family in the face of shift work, conflicting schedules, and cumulative job stressors. She appreciates the importance of self-care and moving beyond law enforcement’s culture of silence in order to remain healthy and productive in a public safety career. Amy is trained in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to facilitate healing and growth in clients with a history of trauma.

She is also recognized by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners as an approved clinical supervisor. Her clinical work focuses on women’s and children’s issues and trauma recovery with expertise in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), sexual assault, and child sexual abuse. She is also co-creator of Post Trauma Resources’ Family Life and Officer Wellness (FLOW) program, which provides comprehensive counseling, educational, and support services within first responder agencies in the Midlands. Prior to joining the staff of Post Trauma Resources, she served as director of clinical services for a regional sexual assault center and has provided training on local, state and national levels for professionals working with this population.

Lisa has been with Post Trauma Resources since 2000. She was originally trained as a teacher for students with disabilities and continues to have a strong interest in children’s issues. Her clinical work not only includes children but adults and focuses on survivors of sexual assault, incest, and trauma.

Mary joined Post Trauma Resources in August 2021. Mary received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Columbia College and her graduate degree in mental health counseling from South University. She has worked for the Veteran’s Affairs Regional Office, the Savannah River Site nuclear facility, the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, and the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Dr. Wright performs Independent Medical Evaluations, Fitness for Duty Evaluations, and individual therapy. Her training as a certified hypnotherapist includes an empirically validated pain management module.

Since starting in the mental health field in 1991, Todd has worked with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of clinical settings, including a residential treatment facility for boys, a psychiatric hospital, two juvenile justice systems and a number of clinical outpatient settings. Todd received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University, in Seattle, Washington in 1991. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington in 1997. He has been a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy since 1999.
