please help us save the henniker hearse!!!

In 1917 Henniker purchased a hearse built in the mid-1800’s from an Antrium undertaker to service town funerals.In 1948 it was retired and left to deteriorate. Mrs. Maro McLeod donated the hearse to the Society in 2006 - we feel this ioconic piece of Henniker history is worth saving. We need YOUR help in the restoration costs. Phase 1 replaces the wooden wheels and rehabing the axles. Donors will be invited to a private Reveal Pary when the hearse is completed!!!!

A $100.00 donation will fix a wagon wheel spoke!

A $1,500.00 donation will fix one of the four wheels!

A $2,000.00 donation will re-manufature and repair

the axle!
