We are a Texas Non-Profit that develops and rehabs affordable multi-family housing and incorporates onsite educational programs for the betterment of low income families.

We Create Decent, Safe, Sanitary Housing

Since  1995,hundreds  of  families  have lived at our Eastend Apartments, and hundreds of children have attended schools

on-onsite.

Gulfcoast Community Service Association

 We callaborate with Gulf Coast Community's Head Start Program. This allows for onsite education at Eastend Apartments.

HHEC'S SCHOLASTIC REWARD PROGRAM

Scholastic Reward Program

Texan children will play a large part of the future of Texas
Our Scholastic Reward Program affords students with a better understanding of American history, and how they can play a part of this great story. Students are flown to Washington, D.C., and introduced to representatives such as Congressman Gene Green (above)

Students are introduced to U.S. Secrtary of Education Dr. Rod Paige in Washington, D.C.

OUR SUPPORTERS

HHEC supporters have helped to further our mission to create decent, safe, sanitary housing and education for low income Texans in Houston, Texas (Below) President of HHEC Michael Marquez,Senator Mario Gallegos,Congressman Gene Green, and Houston HUD's George Lopez pitch in to break ground at producing Eastend Apartments in Houston's Eastend. HHEC revitalized this blighted neighborhood. No new construction existed here in over 30 years.
