Summer Meals

The Screven County Board of Education will be serving free meals during the month of June to all kids ages 18 and under using the Seamless Summer Option. There are no income requirements to participate, just come get a meal while school is out for the summer. Meals will be available for pickup June 5 – 26.

ATTENTION Rising 8th GRADE PARENTS AND STUDENTS

The 2024-2025 application for the $10,000.00 REACH Scholarship for 8th grade students is now available.

Immunization Requirements for Upcoming 7th Graders

All students born on or after January 1, 2002, and entering, advancing, or transferring into 7th grade in Georgia need proof of adolescent pertussis (whooping cough) booster vaccination (called “Tdap”) and an adolescent meningococcal vaccination (MCV4).

Immunization Requirements for upcoming 11th Graders

Effective July 1, 2021, children 16 years of age and older, who are entering the 11th grade
(including new entrants), must have received one booster dose of the meningococcal conjugate
vaccine (MCV4), unless their initial dose was administered on or after their 16th birthday.

Ask your pediatrician or the local health department about other shots your child may need.

No student's schedules will be given out until the up-to-date immunization record is turned in.
