About Riverstone Construction & it's Owner
Riverstone Construction is licensed, insured, and owned / operated by Dave Buchanan. Dave started working in the construction industry in 1991 in Colorado as a laborer on a framing crew, eventually becoming a carpenter.
Throughout his career, Dave has gained extensive experience in the construction industry. After his start in Colorado, he continued working in construction in Michigan until 1996. He then pursued an education in construction management at Southern Polytechnic State in Georgia, while becoming a project manager for Safety Harbor Homes before moving to Massachusetts to work for a custom builder in 2002. In 2003, he established Quarton Construction in Michigan, where he built custom homes and performed remodeling work. In 2016, he ventured into a new direction and opened a Budget Blinds franchise in Michigan. A few years later, after moving to Maine and working for a high-end builder in the state of Maine, he and his wife returned to Traverse City, Michigan to be closer to their family.
Dave is enthusiastic about utilizing his expertise and skills to make a positive impact on the community. He and his wife are both looking forward to meeting people in the community and the opportunity it will give them to get involved and make a difference.
