The conventional model of providing new to Americans has completely broken down. The massive, billion-dollar news conglomerate, such as Fox News, CNN, NBC, CBS, just to name a few, are owned by an elite few and serve the interests of those elites. 

These elites don't live in real America. They view the country between the West and East coasts to be unsophisticated backwaters, unworthy of real news coverage.

Our goals are simple: we will attempt to cover local news wherever we can find it, without fear or favor. When we have an opinion, we will state it openly and honestly. We will try to provoke thought and interest in our democracy, and we will relentlessly seek to encourage a complete and total reform and re-design of our ailing political system and the financial and economic system which sustains it.
