With our extensive inventory of "Like New" refurbished parts, we can repair and expand both newer and older systems as required. NEW RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS:
Everyday, we receive calls from homeowners who need our help. There's the service call to install a telephone jack for a new computer or phone. Or a request to repair a few broken jacks and replace an assortment of store-purchased phones that have failed. There's also the service call to expand or repair an existing Telephone-Intercom System. In that case, some feature reprogramming may be required and some custom printed labels installed... or some customers ask about replacing the whole phone system. And, of course, there's the New Home that was just purchased and needs Telephone, Cable TV, Audio and computer Internet wiring. Whatever the requirements, we spend the time to explain the options, costs and installation process, so an informed decision can be made. We're there to help, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
RESIDENTIAL SYSTEM WIRING INSTALLATION OVERVIEW:
Residential Communications Installation is an area all its own. Few installation companies have the specialized knowledge and experience to do residential work correctly. Snaking wires behind walls, installing bathroom phones on marble walls, invisibly passing wiring from the basement to the third floor attic is an art form that we specialize in. We'll leave your home in the same good shape we found it, but it'll be fully equipped with all the Communications Systems ordered... just ask our customers.
RESIDENTIAL TELEPHONE and INTERCOM FEATURES:
We'll show you how to easily use all of all the telephone system features you like, whether it's just a couple of features, or all of them! And you can call 24 hours if you forget how to use any feature you need.
A PROPERLY PROGRAMMED residential telephone system has special non-business features programmed into the main system and into each telephone which are essential for convenience and system usability. Very frequently we find that phone systems are simply not programmed at all and have never been set up for a home. Residential installations are our division's specialty and we'll make it right for you.
PROFESSIONALLY PRINTED LABELS with room names and individual's names are the first step. The ability to see, at a glance, which phone is in use, enhances the ease of communicating through the house.
The INTERCOM must be able to get through to a phone that's in use... It must be able to VOICE ANNOUNCE or RING at all times. Additionally, it's possible to disable the PRIVACY FEATURE so that you could simply join a call in progress. This makes it easy for two household members to talk to the same outside party simultaneously, without having to know how to use the CONFERENCE FEATURE.
INCOMING TELEPHONE CALLS must be programmed to ring on the correct phones. Household and general calls may ring in several areas, but the teens line(s) might be programmed to ring only in their rooms. And the baby's room probably won't receive ringing at all.
A DIGITAL ANSWERING MACHINE, existing or new, with a few mailboxes, if desired, can be easily integrated into the telephone system. This can allow the housekeeper or grandma, (at the touch of a button), to transfer an answered call to the answering machine. Any household member can then conveniently pickup their message(s), anytime, from anywhere, just like a real voice-mail system.
A DOOR INTERCOM offers the security of not facing an unexpected and unknown visitor who's looking for some other house number. And you can tell UPS to "leave it at the door" if you're indisposed momentarily when the doorbell rings.
CORDLESS MULTI-LINE DISPLAY TELEPHONES offer the convenience of a hold button, intercom and the ability to answer the door while in the back yard or walking the dog by the house.
CALLER ID can display the Callers Name or Telephone Number on any equipped phone throughout the house when a call comes in (Requires Telco CID Service; not all calls will display the information). An individual Caller ID box can store the names and numbers of people who called while you were out. When you return home, you can display them even if they didn't leave a message.
A BACK-UP POWER SUPPLY (UPS) can maintain your telephone system's operation for several hours or several days. When storms come to the area and power is out... your phones keep working!

HOME-OFFICE TELEPHONE SYSTEM -
SPECIAL PROGRAMMING REQUIREMENTS:
INCOMING TELEPHONE CALLS must be programmed to ring on the correct phones. Household and general calls may ring in several areas, but the Office Telephone Lines are usually programmed to ring only in the office area. Special programming can allow the Office or Household calls to ring in additional locations at the touch of a button or at a scheduled time.
A FACSIMILE MACHINE can have its own Dedicated Telephone Line or share an Office line and be integrated into the phone system. A "FAX" button can be placed on all phones to transfer an answered incoming fax call to the Fax Machine at the touch of a button. After about 5 rings, if no one has answered the shared line, the Fax Machine will automatically pick up.

INTERNET CONNECTIONS, NETWORKING, FILE SHARING and PRINTER SHARING:
LOW SPEED INTERNET CONNECTIONS for ONE or MORE COMPUTERS:
A telephone system can supply a Dial Tone for a computer to access the Internet. Placing several "Modem Jacks" throughout the house (e.g., Study, Office and/or Kids rooms) can allow several computers to access the internet simultaneously with LOW SPEED connections. This method requires more than one telephone line for simultaneous access to the Internet from several computers.
HIGH SPEED INTERNET CONNECTIONS for SEVERAL COMPUTERS:
The best way for several computers (more than one) to simultaneously access the Internet is through a Cable or DSL Modem. Each computer is equipped with a NIC card. A jumper cable connects the computer to a Data Jack on the wall and Computer Network Wiring (Cat. 5 Wiring) is run through the house to a centrally connected Data Hub or Switch, with a Router and Cable or DSL Modem attached. If there is no Cable or DSL service available, a Satellite Uplink/Downlink and Server combination can be provided at a higher cost.
NETWORK FILE SHARING and PRINTER SHARING:
If Computers are centrally connected together through Network Wiring and a Data Hub or Switch, it is possible for any connected computer to access a "shared" file (like a "word" document) which is located in another computer. It is also possible to configure computers to share (or use) a printer in another room. File and Printer Sharing can be really convenient when a Laptop Computer has files on it, (or needs to get files located in some other computer) or needs to print out some document. Just plug the laptop in and access the Household Network, Files and Printers.

TV, CABLE TV, SATELLITE, HOME-THEATER and MULTI-AREA MUSIC SYSTEMS:
Running concealed wiring is our specialty for over four decades. Setting up your high-end TV system is handled by our Audio-Video Division. Whether it's a wired audio system with keypads located throughout your home or a handheld wireless control system with a large LCD screen, we'll do it right. Our specialists can even provide custom cabinetry to house the equipment.
TV, CABLE TV and SATELLITE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS:
TV signal access is through a TV Antenna System, Cable TV Connection and/or a Single/Multi-LNB Satellite Dish or Dishes. Household access to TV signals is through Coaxial Cable Wiring, Receivers, Splitters, Amplifiers, Switches, and auxiliary Telephone Lines for Pay-Per-View Authorization. For Internet and Data connectivity, where wired connections are not available or cost effective through the use of a Cable Modem (or DSL), certain satellite dishes can provide Uplink/Downlink Services.
HOME THEATER and MULTI-AREA MUSIC SYSTEMS:
TV Systems include Projectors in HD and Ultra HD 4K, Flat Panel Plasma, LED/LCD Ultra Thin and Curved in HD and Ultra HD 4K in sizes to 90” by Sharp (152” PDP by Panasonic).
All size TV and TV Systems are available with Surround Sound Home Theater Audio.
Multi Area Audio Systems provide local Area-by-Area Volume and Audio Source Selection Control Keypads, Control using your Smart Phone, and fully Wireless Handheld Control Keypads with a Display.

SECURITY SYSTEMS, CERTIFIED MONITORING SERVICES and LOCKSMITH SERVICE:
We provide easy to use complete SECURITY SYSTEMS with Pushbutton Keypads located in convenient locations throughout the house. Typically, a system has 30 to 90 zones so that its easy to see exactly which window is open with a glance at any Keypad. Perimeter and Interior Intrusion Detection, Fire, Smoke, Freeze, Heat and Flood Detection Systems are the norm. Both Wired and Wireless Systems are available. Alarm activations activate Sirens (except Silent Panic) and also send the exact zone information to our 24 hour Certified Central Station through your telephone line, and optionally, through a Secure Telephone Line or CRN Long-Range Radio or Rad-Scan Radio. For the Doors and windows, we carry a full line of locking Hardware including high-end decorative hinges and trim.
