Day Stay and Train “Hybrid”
Pet parents who need extra training help, but don’t want to be away from their dog at night, might be interested in the Day Stay and Train “Hyrbid” program. Drop your dog off in the morning and they will be trained all day! Our expert trainers will touch up basic obedience skills like leash-pulling or focus on troublesome behaviors like aggression. Choose from 3 Day, 5 Day, or 7 Day packages for a balanced program of doggie boot camp and individual classes.

2 Week Board & Train Program

Over 10 days, our expert trainers and your dog will work on the foundations of obedience and other important skills. At the end of this program, you will have 3 private training sessions with a trainer so you can learn how to manage your dog and their new behaviors.

3 Week Board & Train Program

During the 3 Week Board & Train Program, your dog will get an incredibly thorough foundation with our team of expert trainers. Your dog will receive excellent care from an on-site trainer Monday- Friday over a 3 week period of training and fun. Once your 15-day package is over you will receive 3 Private Lessons to help transfer their new training skills. Plus the team at Sit Means Sit will be here for a lifetime of support!

Jon LangdonOwner/Head Trainer
I have had dogs in my life since the day I was born and they have always been a passion of mine. I grew up watching the local K9 unit train in my family’s business warehouse. Watching these amazing dogs work sparked my interest in training.
I started working with our Denver Sit Means Sit location in 2006 and opened the South Denver location in 2009.
Since then I have competed in many different sports with my own dogs, and even gone on to compete at National and World Championships in Dock Dogs.
I really enjoy the experiences that I have had with my own dogs. My goal is to pass that onto all of my clients. I know what it is like to have a well behaved dog and all of the pleasures they bring to each and every day.

Hi I’m Tami! I’ve been working with South Denver Sit Means Sit since 2012! I love exploring with my husband, two kids and our dogs, Mia and Shadow. I’m the voice you hear when you call us.
I strive to match you with our trainers so you can have as much fun with your furry family members as we do with ours. My goal is to ensure you have a smooth and pleasant experience while obtaining training.
Meghanne EdwardsTraining Manager
Growing up on a farm gave Meghanne her passion for animals, no matter what they were! She grew up working with cows, poultry and their family Cattle Dog, Blue. After Blue’s passing they got a couple more pups and Meg was quick to start wanting to train them, this was where her passion for dogs began to shine. When she went off to college she knew she wanted to pursue a career in animal care and went down the Marine Biology path at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW). This was where she met her partner and his dog, Rilla, who happened to be previous Sit Means Sit clients. Learning the methodology from them she quickly began working with Rilla, growing her passion for dogs and sparking her passion for dog training.
After moving to Charlotte, N.C. by herself, Meghanne started her career as a caretaker for all kinds of reptiles and fish and even though she loved the animals, she knew something was still missing. A few months after the move, they unfortunately lost Rilla to cancer. Being without a dog for several months made her realize how much she loved having the companionship and she quickly adopted her fur baby, Shiloh, regaining her passion for training. Realizing that coming home to train Shiloh was always the highlight of her day, as soon as she saw the posting for a Trainer position at Sit Means Sit she knew she had to apply.
After working and thriving at Sit Means Sit Charlotte, the opportunity arose to move out west but Meghanne didn’t want to leave the Sit Means Sit family and found a position with the team at Sit Means Sit South Denver. Meghanne is thrilled to be working with pups in the greater Denver area now and looks forward to meeting you and your pup!
When Meg isn’t training dogs at work she’s out with Shi working on new tricks, playing video games, or off somewhere on an adventure (probably hiking now in Denver!).
Blane LongneckerTrainer
I have owned and loved dogs my entire life. In 2009 I became a client with Sit Means Sit while living in Highlands Ranch. My Golden Retriever, Bentley, had very high prey drive. He was jumping the back fence to chase the coyotes. Knowing this behavior was potentially life threatening to Bentley I sought out a training company to help me. When Jon showed up and demonstrated what Sit Means Sit could do for Bentley and me…I was hooked. I took full advantage of all the dog training that Jon and Sit Means Sit had to offer.
From that point forward the training and overall experience was so impactful, I decided to become a trainer. Today I am proud to share my personal experiences with the training program with our clients, and more importantly to help our clients achieve their training goals.
Judson BrownTrainer
I was raised in a household with a diverse range of dog breeds, including German Shepherds, Doberman Pinchers, and Chihuahuas. This multi-dog environment allowed me to develop a keen understanding of canine body language from a young age. In my early twenties, I rescued my first dog and discovered my passion for rescuing and rehabilitating dogs. While working as a General Manager at a pizza shop, I honed my leadership skills. In 2020, I embarked on a professional dog training career, working at boarding facilities and with various training companies. This exposure enabled me to learn multiple training methods, including protection work.
Shortly after, I rescued my current dog, Remi, and trained him to become my loyal companion and service dog. In 2023, I joined Sit Means Sit’s South Denver location, where I was fortunate enough to rescue Geissele, a female Malinois. Through Sit Means Sit, I continue to expand my knowledge and experience in the world of dog training.
