My offices are now located at 1350 Main Street, Suite 302, Springfield, MA 01103, right across the street from Springfield City Hall. I am meeting with clients virtually and in person, and for the safety of everyone, all conference rooms are sanitized in between meetings. I wear masks during meetings and observe social distancing.

Update: The court will be moving to all hearing being “in person” by October 2022. All Massachusetts Family Courts have been operating mostly virtually and occasionally in person during the pandemic.

I have been litigating and defending parent’s rights against DCF since 1999. I have regularly represented children and parents in State Intervention Cases. These are cases where the Department of Children and Families (DCF) has taken custody of children. These case are very difficult and because of their nature these cases are closed to the public and can result in the termination of parental rights. There is no greater loss than that of a child, and I have the experience to help my clients navigate administrative and legal process. I have participated in hundreds of these cases throughout the years, advocating for my clients each step of the way, by asserting and protecting their rights.

Getting to know Attorney Pilon

This former United States Army JAG officer has experiece and training to represent you effectively in divorces, modifications for child support, parenting time (visitation). I also have experience other areas of family law such as contempts, guardianships and removal cases. I will be there to support you.

I have  had the pleasure of  representing individuals as a family law attorney for over 20 years in the Springfield area. I can provide services in both English and Spanish. My approach to family law is family / child-centered, having worked for DCF (Massachusetts Department of Children and Families) for seven years.  I am sensitive to the issues that may affect you or your family and I have the experience to diligently advocate on your behalf.

I am also a Court Investigator for the Juvenile Court and have done this for over 20 years. I was a Social Worker for the Department of Social Services, now, DCF in Springfield for 7 years where I provided direct services to my clients in both English and Spanish. 

I served in the United States Army first as a Cavalry Scout (5th CAV) and later as a JAG officer. Service to my country is important to me. I believe in the blessings that our country has afforded us and volunteered to protect these.

I attended Assumption College in Worcester,MA where I studied Political Science with a minor in philosophy as well as history. Upon my graduation from Assumption College, I attended Suffolk Law School in Boston, MA.
