The U.S. Dept. of Labor recently announced the availability of $12 million in additional funds to improve job quality and increase the availability of good jobs in critical industries, including an emphasis on training provided for jobs in the care economy such as home, elder and child care.

    Gaylord Eugene Duley, 92, of Laconia, Ind., died Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon. The funeral was Monday, May 27, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with the Rev. Gary Decker officiating. Burial was in Otterbein Cemetery.
