On an ATV? Wear a helmet
All ATV operators and passengers under the age of 18 are required to wear a DOT-approved helmet. However, all riders should wear a helmet, which is one of the best ways to stay safe.
State park vehicle permits
Cell and WiFi signals aren’t always great in the parks, so try to buy your vehicle permit before your trip! If you need to buy one in the park, follow the pay station instructions near the ranger station, where the signal is usually strongest. If you only need a one-day permit, the Yodel portal is quickest.
