The BHAT meetings take place on the first Tuesday of every other month. These gatherings provide a platform for stakeholders and community members to come together, share insights, and develop effective strategies to improve housing accessibility and affordability through engagement and to provide advisory information to the City of Bloomington Boards. We believe that by fostering collaboration among various organizations, we can make a significant impact on this pressing issue.

On May 14, Bloomington Mayor Tim Busse and Councilmember Lona Dallessandro along with City of Bloomington Community Development staff were given a grand opening tour of the recently completed Noble Apartments, located at 8200 Humboldt Ave. S.
Polar Semiconductor will invest $525 million to expand its Bloomington manufacturing facility, leveraging $120 million in direct funding as part of the U.S. CHIPS and Science Act and a $75 million investment from the Minnesota Forward Fund, a State of Minnesota initiative to fuel business expansion.
