Israel says the ceasefire proposal agreed to by Hamas is "far" from the "necessary requirements." Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said the country will send a delegation to continue work on a ceasefire proposal. The country said it will continue with operations in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.       Former President Trump's New York criminal hush money trial is in its fourth week. The judge in the case found him contempt of court for a tenth time for violating a gag order. He told Trump the court will have to consider a jail sanction going forward for any further violations of the gag order.        Columbia University is canceling its school-wide graduation ceremony. The decision came after weeks of pro-Palestinian protests on the New York City campus. Security concerns were reportedly the main cause for the cancellation.        Wall Street is closing higher to start the week. Stocks rose on easing inflation fears and news that Hamas accepted a tentative ceasefire proposal to pause the war with Israel. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 176 points to 38-852, the S&P 500 added 52 points to 51-80 and the Nasdaq rose 192 points to 16-349.       The FAA is opening a new probe into Boeing's 787 Dreamliner jets. The agency said Boeing informed it last month that employees may not have completed required inspections on the planes. The investigation will look to determine if the inspections happened "and whether company employees may have falsified aircraft records."        There are two games on the NBA Playoffs schedule tonight. In the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers travel to New York City to take on the Knicks in game one of their second round series. In the West, the Minnesota Timberwolves will try to take a two-nothing lead over the Denver Nuggets.
