The Lakefront Airport has received enough money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to replace the James Wedell Hangar that was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina, according to an official who oversees the facility. FEMA awarded Lakefront Airport about $7.3 million from their public assistance grant to build a replacement facility for the James Wedell Hangar.
