Company Overview:

AFC Finishing Systems was established by Carl Hagan Sr. in 1967 in Southern California as a provider of air filter products and spray booth maintenance. In 1974, the company added spray booths to its growing list of products. AFC Finishing Systems continued to grow over the years by expanding its product lines, customer bases, and geographic reaches. By the early 1980's, AFC Finishing Systems had become a significant player in both the air filter and the spray booth markets. In 1983, AFC Finishing Systems moved production of its filter products to Iowa and production of its spray booth products to Northern California. In 1988, the filter and spray booth divisions of the company split into two separate corporations, Air Filtration Co., Inc. and AFC Finishing Systems respectively. This separation allowed each company to focus exclusively on its specialties.
