Since opening in 1998, Aldo's has earned a reputation as the Premier Italian restaurant in the region. The New York Times calls Aldo's "An Italian Masterpiece." As the highest scoring Zagat-rated Italian restaurant in Maryland, Aldo's has served celebrities, royal families, noted business leaders and local luminaries. Award-winning chef/owner Aldo Vitale's delicately-balanced, Southern-inspired regional Italian cuisine takes advantage of local, seasonal ingredients and finds its setting in elegant, sumptuously-appointed interiors immersed in soft hues of ivory and rose and steeped in classical Italian tradition. Aldo's Wine Spectator award-wining wine list is housed in a below-ground, climate-controlled wine cave, where rarefied private dining events are hosted nightly.
