After building custom, green technology homes for 30 years, Cory knew one of the most important parts of building a great home was installing the right heating and cooling system. When it was time for him to replace his own heating system, he set out to find the smartest solution on the market, and his research led him to ductless heat pumps.

Ductless systems were already incredibly popular in Asia and Europe because they were quiet, improved air quality, and were the most eco and wallet friendly choice. No other system matched their efficiency. Wanting to know first hand if this was the real deal, Cory installed a system in his own home to experience it for himself. He was instantly hooked.

From then on, he knew he had to get the word out about this technology! A few weeks later he ran into his friend Mike Meisenheimer on a ski lift at White Pass and shared his enthusiasm. Mike quickly became just as excited as Cory, and Alpine Ductless was born soon after.
