About Argo Window Repair & Glass Replacement

Established February 2017

Window repair in Bethesda, MD is quoted only after Argo reads the opening: which sections of stile, rail, and sill are sound, which have failed, and whether the fault sits in the glass, the hardware, or the frame. The write-up names members rather than windows, so an owner can see exactly what is being kept, what is being cut away, and what each of those costs on its own. Wood sections go back to sound stock and are replaced in new wood milled to the original profile, primed and matched to the finish standing on the elevation. Insulated glass carries a 20-year manufacturer warranty and our work carries a year. Apartment and co-op buildings across Montgomery County are worked one elevation at a time and around residents; single houses are usually finished on the visit that priced them, since the parts and the stock come with the crew rather than on a truck a fortnight later. Nothing is ordered that the elevation did not ask for.
