BakeABox, an up and coming contender in the bakery box and packaging industry in North Carolina introduces their own brand of cupcake inserts, made to accommodate and conform to all cupcakes up to 2.5". This is a feature unheard of in the bakery packaging market until now. Currently available inserts are size specific, requiring bakers to purchase multiple sizes for different cupcakes. The inserts are made to fit perfectly inside of a quarter sheet cake box, and hold 12 cupcakes securely. BakeABox first debuted its own brand of bakery boxes in March of 2010 and has experienced steady growth, especially since the release of their new and updated site, BakeABox.com, in January of this year. BakeABox has amassed quite a following on facebook, mostly due to their belief in interacting with customers to gain feedback on products and a dedication to low prices.
The company also will continue its support of several breast cancer charities, including donating a portion of their sales on eBay to Susan G. Komen and supporting Cleaning for a Reason on their website. BakeABox also supports their local community by donating paper supplies to elementary schools in the area.
Additional sizes of cupcake inserts are planned for the near future, as well as boxes designed for single cupcakes.
