Bark Blvd

Bark Blvd is a dog boarding and daycare facility in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, built as an enrichment-based retreat for dogs who deserve more than a kennel. Overnight guests stay in private, cage-free suites with comfortable or orthopedic bedding, and every stay includes all-day supervised group play. Dogs who prefer their own space get one-on-one playtime with staff, and a Solo Play program lets unaltered dogs aged 6 months to 2 years board safely apart from other households. Our dog daycare runs Monday through Saturday, with full-day and half-day visits, punch cards and monthly Paw Pass memberships. Dogs are grouped by size and play style across indoor and outdoor play areas, so every dog plays safely with the right friends. We also offer dog bathing, brush-outs and nail trims, with full-service grooming launching soon, plus a four-stage Puppy Academy for puppies 16 weeks and older that covers leash walking, focus, socialization, basic obedience and calm handling for vet and grooming visits. Our team is professionally trained, certified in pet first aid and CPR, and trained in infectious disease management, and Bark Blvd is a member of the International Boarding and Pet Services Association (IBPSA). Pet parents receive text updates and daily report cards with photos, and can book online or schedule a free tour and meet and greet before the first visit. Bark Blvd proudly serves dog owners in Mount Pleasant, Fairfield, Burlington, Washington, Iowa City and communities across Southeast Iowa.
