With over 34 years of experience, Captain Jim ("Big Bird") and son, Captain Eric, operate Lake Michigan Charters specializing in King Salmon (Chinook Salmon), Coho Salmon, Steelhead (rainbow trout), Lake Trout and Brown Trout. Saint Joseph, MI is also known as “The Riviera of the Midwest”. With pristine beach shoreline, an array of festivals and numerous activities in and around the city, Saint Joseph is truly an attraction to experience. BIG BIRD III is a 34’ Searay Express and accommodates up to 6 passengers comfortably in addition to Jim and Eric. This Father and Son duo merge their combined skills into meeting and exceeding all expectations resulting in memories of a lifetime.
