China Baroque began as a small family owned business back in the mid-nineties. It was made up of Alexanne Albert, (the Mom), Erica Calvery (the daughter) and Christie Gunter (the daughter-in-law). China Baroque flourished over the years traveling to various gift shows across the southern United States. Our vision was to bring a unique product to the market that wasn’t readily available in most areas. Through hard work and creativity, China Baroque became known for their devotion to design, craftsmanship and customer service.

Today, China Baroque is solely owned by Christie Gunter. Along with the help of her amazing team, she decided to take the business in a different direction by opening up a flagship store in Houston.
