Clair Tappaan Lodge, our rustic lodging near Lake Tahoe, CA, is nestled in woods on the historic Donner Pass. This 1930s casual lodge is 3 miles from Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, 7 miles from Donner Pass, and 25 miles from Tahoe City. Rustic mixed and single dorms offer bunk beds and shared bathrooms. Private sleeps up to 12 people. Linens and towels are available for a fee. Communal meals are served in a woodsy dining room; sack lunches are available.
