the older, all-black Thomas P. Morgan Elementary School (now defunct) and the all-white John Quincy Adams Elementary School. Adams Morgan is located about 1.5 miles north of the White House with a total population amount of 17,154.
This Washington DC neighborhood has a vibrant night life especially on 18th street and Columbia road offers a great verity of shops, though it does contain mostly residential areas.
