Welcome to DFC Arms, started on accident in 2017. Throughout the years our family became involved in competition shooting, with one of our younger daughters taking special interest. While participating in multiple shooting sports with various firearms, she saw a “pretty gun” all done-up in Robin’s Egg Blue. This is where our journey began, two parents with a can-do attitude willing to do whatever it takes to keep their girl happy and in love with shooting sports. Over the next year, we found the fun of immersing ourselves into a new trade, learning the tools and equipment needed to make ‘CERAKOTE’ happen.

Because a family that shoots together stays together, we built our business together as well. The foundation of principles and standards DFC Arms is run under comes from the military. Donavan and Michelle both served in the Army, Michelle as a combat medic and Donavan as an 82nd Airborne Paratrooper, earning his Air Assault Wings while conducting sling load operations with 25th ID in Hawaii. We take pride in being a ‘Veteran Owned and Family Operated’ business, our customers are our extended family and should expect some light-hearted verbal banter – because how else do you let people know you enjoy their company?

Presently, we are proud to be a Factory Certified Cerakote Shop as well as Certified Laser Engravers certified by San Antonia Laser Engraving. Donavan and Michelle are both Factory Certified Applicators from NIC Industries and run the day-to-day business with some help from our youngest daughters, Stefani and Paige, who assist in the graphics and media department. Our abilities also include vinyl stenciling and decals, all done in-house at our shop in Georgetown, KY. On top of being a Certified Cerakote Shop, we are a full-service gun shop that provides both in-store inventory as well as online sales. DFC Arms is also a 'Powered-By-Silencer Shop' retailer, leveraging the Silencer Shop Full Auto software to streamline your e-forms experience.

We carry several VETERAN OWNED products and even locally made products. Services include Factory Certified Cerakote applicators, Certified Laser Engraving, Glock Laser Stippling, Glock double undercuts, Gunsmithing services ranging from Pin/Weld, barrel threading, AR Receiver lapping, Pistol slide optic cuts, AR parts, Sight installation, and even basic Gun Cleaning.
