At Disability Guardian Support Community Inc. (DGSC), our mission is deeply personal.
We are a Georgia-based, minority-owned 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to standing beside children with disabilities and special needs, ages 5–21, and the families who love them. Every day, we meet families who are fighting silent battles—families who want nothing more than to see their child feel accepted, supported, and given a fair shot at reaching their full potential.
DGSC was created to be that safe place.
A place where our kids can grow, explore, discover new abilities, and shine in ways the world sometimes overlooks. Through hands-on community programs—like painting, gardening, culinary arts, and therapeutic activities—we help children build confidence, creativity, social skills, and emotional strength. But more than anything, we give them a space where they are seen, valued, and celebrated.
