Lucia Marquez, Attorney at Dallas Immigration Attorneys



Born in Jalisco, Mexico, and raised between California and Nebraska, she brings a personal understanding and empathetic perspective to her work as an immigration attorney.


Her commitment to serving immigrant communities began in 2008 when she joined Lutheran Immigration Services as an AmeriCorps member. She became an attorney in 2014 and has since represented clients in removal proceedings across multiple states, including individuals in immigration detention. Through this work, she has earned the trust of clients facing significant and often life-changing circumstances.


Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys creating floral artwork through drawing and painting—an outlet that keeps her grounded and inspired. She remains committed to making the immigration process more compassionate, understandable, and human for the people and families she serves.
