About Diabetic Alert Dogs of America

Established October 2012

Diabetic Alert Dogs of America provides professionally trained diabetic alert service dogs for children and adults living with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes throughout the United States and Canada. The organization specializes in matching families with trained service dogs that are taught to detect scent changes associated with low and high blood sugar levels and provide alerts before dangerous situations occur.
