Global Parents for Eczema Research (GPER) was formed by two parents in 2015. Both had been struggling with managing their children’s moderate to severe eczema and with finding evidence-based information to guide medical decisions. At that time, treatments were limited and no new ones had been developed for children in decades. Today GPER is focused on finding a cure for eczema through research in supporting families with the best evidence-based information and peer support.
