H. Upmann Royal Robusto (LCDH) cigars are part of a limited edition released on the market in 2011. I was looking forward to these cigars as I am quite fond of H. Upmann brand. I was pretty convinced that I am going to purchase some extraordinary cigars. Hence, I have purchased a few of them.
Appearance & Construction
The cigar smoked for review had a spectacular look. It was extremely beautiful and elegant. I stood more than a couple of minutes admiring it. The cigar had a fantastic dark colored wrapper, which resembled a lot the color of chocolate. Furthermore, the cigar was oily and on its surface I could barely notice some thin veins. The perfume spread by the wrapper was that of premium tobacco leaves.

Checking the stick thoroughly made me realize that I will never discover defects at it. It was firm, solid and there were no soft spots on it. The draw was impeccable, without issues, and the burn just went straight without a problem.
Taste
Since I have a lot of experience in this field, I can recommend this cigar to anyone. It is not a very strong cigar, and it is not trying to overwhelm you despite the numerous flavors inside it. The start of the cigar might be a bit too spicy for my taste, but it is mixed with a delicious note of gingerbread that makes it bearable. The second part of the cigar is sweeter bringing into the stage notes of honey, raisins, and apricots. The last third is all about wood, tobacco and leather.

H. Upmann Royal Robusto (LCDH) cigars are incredible. They have multiple flavors within them, so I am serious when I say that these cigars are cash worthy.
