They have added a number of telehealth services and are also taking extra precautions to protect staff and patients who do need to come into the office.
Hearing Specialists of DuPage has launched an online hearing test that allows patients to use their computer or other Internet-connected device to take a simple hearing test online. Though additional testing will be needed for poor results, this is an excellent starting point for those who feel they may have an issue with their hearing.
For those who already wear hearing aids, Hearing Specialists of DuPage has also implemented a remote hearing aid program designed to help their patients adjust their hearing aids and get answers to their questions. Through a mobile application, patients can connect to the professionals at the hearing clinic and resolve any issues they may have.
Finally, patients who do need to come into the office for an appointment can rest assured the proper precautions are in place to protect them and the staff. This includes stringent, frequent cleaning of the office and social distancing whenever possible.
