Houston City Dance Ballet / Hip-Hop / Jazz / Modern / Tap Dance classes for pre-school children through adults. Established in 1994 by Creative Director and Founder Sherese Campbell, Houston City Dance Studio is a nonprofit dance school and performing arts organization that seeks to reflect the ethnic diversity of the Houston Metropolitan area. CHILDREN Ages 3 - 5 Dancers learn abstract movements which use the principals of ballet through imaginative music and games. Dancers will improve flexibility and coordination through fun, age appropriate movement and exercises. YOUTH Age 5 - 13 Dancers learn body movements, begin to develop core strength, coordination, and style while focusing on the fundamentals of the various disciplines of ballet, hip-hop, jazz, modern, and tap. TEEN & ADULT Age 13+ Our teen and adult classes support a wide range of dance experience from true beginners to experienced veterans.
