Led by Kelly Wilson, M.D., Houston Obgyn Group is a boutique practice dedicated to offering women in all life stages compassionate and qualified care. Houston Obgyn Group’s gynecological services include STD testing, contraceptive counseling, preventive care, breast exams, hormone replacement therapy, and treatment of infections in the vagina and urinary tract. The practice also provides surgical care, including laparoscopic assisted hysterectomies, tubal ligations, ovarian cyst removal, and in-office endometrial ablation.

From a family of medical professionals, Dr. Wilson has maintained a private practice at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas for the past 16 years. Earning her B.A. in Biochemistry at Rice University, she subsequently completed medical studies in her home state of Colorado. Throughout her time in medical school, and while completing an ob-gyn residency at Houston’s Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Wilson served in the Army National Guard.

During her first 15 years leading Houston Obgyn Group, Kelly Wilson, M.D., assisted in delivering thousands of babies. In search of a more balanced family life, she has scaled back her obstetrician duties and now primarily offers patient referrals to compatible physicians. Her practice does offer pregnancy confirmation, ultrasound monitoring for miscarriage, treatment of vomiting and nausea, routine laboratory studies, and genetic screening during the first trimester.

In addition to her primary private practice duties, Dr. Wilson has recently taken on a distributor role with Advocare!, which offers treatment strategies for patients struggling with weight issues.
