My intention for psychotherapy is that it be insightful, productive and motivating both in session and out in life between sessions.

I have been a practicing psychotherapist for over 10 years. My office is conveniently located in downtown Tenafly, New Jersey, and is a tranquil place where you can feel peaceful and comfortable. I work with individuals, couples and families of all ages, religions and ethnicities. My experience as a psychotherapist and with marriage counseling enables me to handle the internal emotional, sometimes difficult situations that life brings. I also have over 25 years of experience as a personal coach and so our work also deals with actions we take “out there” in the world.

Our work together starts by distinguishing your desired outcomes. Then, using a blend of mind-body and cognitive-behavioral therapy, we explore your thoughts and how they shape the way you feel and behave. We develop new patterns of thoughts and behaviors that shape the way you want your life to be.

It is also my pleasure to offer Reiki, an ancient hands-on energy-balancing modality which promotes physical and mental relaxation, clarity and contentment.
