Patients check in upon arrival and demographics and insurance is verified. The medical assistant is notified by the electronic medical record that the patient is ready. The medical assistant takes the patient to the room and, in privacy, obtains vital signs and the patient’s chief complaint. The patient provider will then assess the patient. Appropriate tests, if needed, are ordered (lab, radiology, etc.). Some testing is performed in the office and results are provided by the office, and/or Park Ridge Health. These include, but are not limited to, urinalysis dipstick, protime/INR, strep screen.

The providers treat patients for both acute and chronic problems in an outpatient setting. Acute problems include, but are not limited to, sinusitis, physical exams, electrocardiograms, audiometry, pulse oximetry, nebulizer treatments, skin surgery, urinary tract infection, pneumonia, sprains, lacerations, and cardiopulmonary problems. Chronic problems include, but are not limited to, hypertension, diabetes, coronary artery disease, chronic heart failure, and COPD.

All ancillary services will be provided by Park Ridge Health or other appropriate facilities that best serve the patient’s needs.

This office adheres to Park Ridge Health policies as they pertain to each specialty.
