MasterShield gutter protection systems prevent debris from clogging gutters, keeping any particles larger than fifty microns from blocking the proper flow of water. This includes leaves, pine needles, sand, and shingle grit, as well as roof oils that can form a coating over a gutter guard and render it useless. MasterShield is manufactured from a heavy-duty, stainless steel micromesh and a uni-bodied aluminum frame. The guard is installed in line with the roof on the front lip of a gutter, effectively extending the plane of the roof over the gutter. Debris then naturally falls off the roof, but water is siphoned for proper drainage by way of a system known as HydroVortex. This patented design directs water to flow into the gutter and away from the building, despite accumulated debris, protecting the walls and foundation from eventual water damage. Regardless of the amount of rainfall, the MasterShield system is self-cleaning and prevents any overflow.
