In 2009, Media Makeup Academy was founded by celebrity makeup artist Amanda Shackleton, who set out to create an intimate, cozy learning environment for students to perfect their craft. Unlike traditional makeup schools, Media Makeup Academy offers a program that fully trains students in basic makeup artistry in just five days, making it a class that fits into everyones time frame and budget. Just like any other artistic career-once you graduate, practice is what will help you build up your skills, knowledge and pace when working on clients.
