HPP equipment is basically used to treat foods, beverages as well as different bioactive materials with High pressure. In this procedure, the products are subjected to high pressures in addition to or even in the absence of heat to inactivate the microbes as well as the bacteria. The procedure includes food and beverages or other bioactive materials to be packed in a flexible container such as a pouch or even a plastic bottle. Pressure is then applied to it with a pressure transmitting fluid in a pressurized chamber. Basically, the HPP equipment is used for high-pressure food preservation that efficiently uses hydrostatic pressure in order to sterilize the foods and beverages. The food processing system uses HPP systems to generate and produce the naturally better taste of foods.
