About Oculi

Established January 2019

OCULI is a fabless semiconductor company founded by Dr. Charbel Rizk as a spin-out of Johns Hopkins University, where the underlying technology was originally developed. The company's flagship product, the OCULI SPU (Sensing and Processing Unit), is a software-defined vision sensor that processes AI directly at the pixel level, branded IntelliPixel®. Manufactured in partnership with GlobalFoundries, the SPU delivers real-time, ultra-low-power visual intelligence with built-in privacy and no cloud dependency. OCULI's technology serves applications across smart cities, robotics and autonomous vehicles, consumer electronics and wearables, and defense and national security platforms. Developers can evaluate the technology through OCULI's Magenta and Proof-of-Concept evaluation programs.flooring, home improvements, and handyman services.
