For more than 16 years, PFI has been manufacturing specialty plastic, foam and metal parts for the industrial battery, cryogenics, capacitors and aerospace industries. PFI also makes corrosion-resistant ladders for the steam power industry. PFI principally manufactures custom fabricated and machined plastic products, machines and laminates rigid foam, and machines and fabricates metal parts. PFI uses a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) to ensure the accuracy of parts tolerances. PFI is committed to fast deliveries, and with certain parts, PFI can go from drawing to delivery in as little as two weeks.

• Fabricated plastics include heavy-duty and chemical resistant drip pans, battery boxes, protective shields, acid tanks and cassettes. Experience in machining and fabricating materials such as polypropylene, polypropylene fire retardant, HDPE, co-polymer polypropylene, and rigid PVC.
• PFI machining and laminating rigid foam applications include aerospace rods, cryogenic tank corks and plugs. Rigid foam materials experience includes Rohacell® IG/IG-F, Divinycell, CoreCell™, Corafoam®, and High-Density EPS.
• Fabricated and machined metal parts include deox tubes, thermowells, magnesium condensers, agitators, aerospace shafts, cryogenic tank shafts, tubes, flanges and rolls. PFI’s experience with metal materials involves titanium, Inconel®/nickel explosion bonded, Inconel® 600 and 601, L-605 Alloy, X-750 Alloy, Aluminum 6061 and T651, Stainless Steel 2205, 316 and 304, and 1215 Cold Rolled Steel.
