Farhan Read was called to the English Bar at Lincoln’s Inn and had begun his legal career in 2008 with the Attorney General’s Chambers as a Deputy Public Prosecutor and subsequently as a Federal Counsel during which time he had specialized in the prosecution of commercial and cyber-crimes. In 2013, he began practice as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya with Messrs. Read & Co. and has since continued to specialize in commercial crime defence while broadening the scope of his practice to encapsulate narcotics offences, sexual crimes, corruption offences, immigration, and copyright offences. Throughout his 17 year career he was involved in multiple high-profile cases on both sides of the bar table as prosecutor and then as defence counsel and finds that the value of perspective and experience translates well into giving and executing practical and realistically attainable solutions to the legal issues faced by his clientele.
