Ralph Smith studied art at the University of Houston prior to starting his career as an illustrator and graphic designer. By 1980, Smith transformed his interest in photography into a profession. Through hard work, passion and self-described luck, Ralph Smith has maintained a long-term photography career. He continues to be a student of photography to study light and develop cutting edge ideas to enhance his photographic work.
