As the business continued to grow, he relocated to the 700 block of East Street in 1960, and finally to 909 North East St. in 1969. The 909 North East St. facility now serves as Rice Tire ’s corporate office. Donald Rice, Sr. passed away in 1987. Ken Rice, chairman of Donald B. Rice Tire Company and the youngest of Donald Rice’s three sons, has carried on his father’s tradition since 1975. The company is now run by a management team led by Ken’s son-in-law, CEO Chris Chase.
